to NRSB Continuing Education Course Approval form for UIC Illinois Radon
Course on Mitigation; approval dated May 7, 2001.
The referenced course
(hereafter called the course) has been approved by the NRSB as satisfactory to
meet the requirement for Initial Radon Mitigation Training and for Category I
Continuing Education.
A person who
satisfactorily completes the course is eligible to sit for the Illinois
Mitigation License Examination where it is intended that the examination
questions will be taken from Illinois' Department of Nuclear Safety documents
and other documents that are provided with the course.
Although a person who
satisfactorily completes the course also is eligible to sit for NRSB's
Mitigation Certification Examination, there are additional documents that need
to be reviewed from which the NRSB examination questions are taken, that are
not covered by this course.
NRSB Mitigation
Examination questions are taken from documents on the list called Training
and Reference Material for NRSB Certified Radon Mitigator. All of the documents on the list may not be provided with the
course.
