The following is a list of States that have their own certification program:     California     Delaware     Florida     Illinois     Indiana     Iowa     Maine     Nebraska     New Jersey     New York     Ohio     Pennsylvania     Rhode Island     West Virginia                                                                                              If you provide radon services in any of these states, you are responsible for complying with the State Certification program(s).  Some States require participation in a national certification program such as the National Radon Safety Board.  Please contact that state's radon program to get information.  Contractors in Maryland who are performing radon MITIGATION in residences must have a Maryland Home Improvement contractor's license.
